You can start using Sequin on a 14-day, flexible free trial. The trial is intended to give you time to evaluate Sequin and validate that we’re a great fit for your needs. We don’t require a credit card to start your trial. If you require more time to evaluate Sequin, please reach out to us and we’ll be happy to work with you to extend your trial.

Development syncs (i.e. syncs connected to a development sources such as a Salesforce dev account, Stripe Test account, etc.) are always free.

After the trial, you’ll need to setup a paid plan to continue using Sequin.

Monthly active rows

We gauge the size of your sync based on the number of “monthly active rows” (MAR) in a given billing period.

An active row is the number of unique rows created, updated, or deleted in a given billing period. An active row will only be counted once during a billing period, regardless of how many times it is synced or updated. Additionally, your first sync (i.e. backfill) and any re-sync from a source does not add to your monthly active row count.

Tracking usage

As soon as you create a new sync in Sequin, we’ll begin tallying your monthly active records for your source.

You can access these usage metrics in the Sequin console by clicking on the user icon in the top right corner and selecting Usage.

Every hour, we’ll calculate your MAR by sync and in total. You’ll also see your total MAR trend graphed by day.

On demand

Pay month-to-month based on your Monthly Active Rows. This is a great option if you’re just starting out and don’t have a predictable sync volume.

Monthly reserved - 10% Discount

Purchase MAR in advanced at a predictable discount. This is a great option if you have a predictable sync volume and want to save money. Any overages will be billed at the standard on-demand rate.

Annual Upfront - 20% Discount

Purchase MAR in advance on an annual contract. You’ll be billed up-front and we can re-true up your MAR at the end of the year. This is a great option if you have a predictable sync volume and want to save money.


If you hit the MAR limit of your plan, your sync won’t immediately stop. We’ll reach out and work with you to upgrade your plan to the next tier.
